NEW INDIA SCHOOL is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to the S.S.C.E. Board. The classes of Playgroup, Mini, Junior, Senior K.G. and Std. I To VII began in June 2004. Now the school has classes till Std. XII, all in one shift and housed in the same campus.
The magnificent school building stands out against the backdrop of lush green hills. The pollution free peaceful environment add to the alluring ambience of the school. The beautiful school garden is a welcoming sight for all. The building has spacious spotlessly clean corridors, 700 sq.ft class rooms, huge library, science and computer laboratories. The play-ground is two minutes walk from the building. The Kindergarten children have outdoor play-things just below their classrooms.
We follow our own eclectic method of education which is being evolved for over a quarter of a century now. Rooted firmly in Indian soil, it enjoys embracing modern thought. Though certainly not paranoiac or parochial, we try to infuse the best of Indian values, sift the chaff, retain the best and incorporate excellent modern concepts and technology too. The eclectic attitude allows our school to be in the main stream without losing sight, both of the past and the future.
The school is apolitical, non-commercial and wed to the cause of excellent human resource development.
